Removing Cluster Nodes

Warning

  • Removing a node and re-adding it to a cluster may result in data loss.

  • After removing a node, you will no longer be able to delete session data recorded by this node and replicated to other nodes.

  • Such a disconnected node MUST NOT be added/reconnected to the cluster again.

Danger

If it is necessary to remove a node, we recommend contacting the Fudo Technical Support Team before starting any actions.

Removing a Node from the Cluster

To remove a node from the Fudo Enterprise cluster, follow the instructions below.

  1. Log in to the Fudo Enterprise Administration Panel.

  1. From the left menu, select Settings > Cluster.

  2. In the node list, locate the node you intend to remove.

  3. Select the Delete option next to the chosen cluster node.

  4. Click Save.

Rejoining a Removed Node

Warning

If it is necessary to reconnect a removed node to the cluster, the node must be reset to factory settings from the terminal in accordance with the procedure described in Resetting Configuration to Default Settings, and only then rejoined to the cluster according to the instructions in Adding Cluster Nodes.
