Supported Protocols¶
Last update: 2026-02-06
Fudo ShareAccess supports the following protocols, ensuring secure and efficient remote access across various environments:
- RDP: A proprietary protocol by Microsoft that allows users to connect to and control a remote Windows-based machine through a graphical interface. With RDP, administrators and users can manage systems and resources remotely.
- SSH: A protocol designed for secure remote access to Linux/Unix systems, ensuring encrypted communication and safe administration.
- VNC*: A platform-independent protocol that provides remote graphical access by transmitting keyboard and mouse input as well as screen updates between the client and the remote system. It is widely used for cross-platform desktop access and administration.
- HTTP**: A stateless application-layer protocol used for transferring data between a client and a server, most commonly for accessing web-based resources and applications. In this context, it refers to rendered HTTP content, allowing users to interact with web interfaces and browser-based management tools through a rendered view rather than raw requests.
Note
- *The currently implemented support for the VNC protocol in ShareAccess is limited to the Webclient.
- **The currently implemented support for the HTTP protocol in ShareAccess is limited to the Webclient and is provided as a BETA feature. Functionality and stability may be subject to change in future releases.
