Sharing Resources¶
Last update: 28.03.2025
Fudo ShareAccess introduces a new approach to resource management, allowing users to share access with other members of their organization.
Note
This feature is available exclusively for private domain organizations that support member invitations.
When an administrator approves a sharing request, Fudo Enterprise automatically configures access for the new user. The process includes the following steps:
- If the User for whom access is shared does not exist in Fudo Enterprise, Fudo ShareAccess will create the User and pair it with their Fudo ShareAccess account.
- Fudo ShareAccess will then either locate an existing Safe or create a new one designated for shared access for this user.
- The Safe created during this process will have a distinctive name in the following format:
Shared Resources: user email address
(e.g.,Shared Resources: vendor2@gustr.com
).- If a new Safe is created, the User will also be added to it.
- Finally, the Account (Resource) will be added to the Safe.
This configuration enables the user to view the new resource shared by another user in Fudo ShareAccess. The resource will only become visible once the administrator approves the sharing request. Additionally, the Safe created during this process will be visible to Fudo Enterprise administrators.
Managing Resource Sharing Requests¶
Sharing access utilizes the Just-In-Time mechanism, enabling administrators of Fudo Enterprise to approve or deny resource-sharing requests directly from the Requests tab. Managing shared requests follows the same process as standard Just-In-Time access requests.
Note
The Request for column in the Requests tab specifies the user who will receive access upon approval of the request.

For detailed information, refer to the Fudo Enterprise documentation, Access Requests section.
