Members¶

Owners of the Organization can decide whether a member’s account is active or inactive. Logging in with an inactive account will display an appropriate message about account inactivity and prevent the member from accessing the Organization’s resources.
Note
- You can manage Fudo ShareAccess users directly from within the Fudo ShareAccess or the Fudo Enterprise.
- If you are using Fudo Enterprise, inviting users through it is more convenient for management purposes. Users invited directly via Fudo ShareAccess 1.0 will not be created in Fudo Enterprise.
Inviting Members Through Fudo Enterprise¶
You can invite users to access organization resources or to become an organization members. Inviting a user establishes a connection between Fudo Enterprise user and Fudo ShareAccess user, which is necessary to grant access to resources.
To add users from Fudo Enterprise and connect them with Fudo ShareAccess follow below steps:
Create user with email that will be used as email for Fudo ShareAccess access:
- Select > and then click .
Enter user name.
From the Role drop-down list select desired role.
In the User Data tab, in the User info field enter:
- user’s full name (required),
- user’s email address that will be used as email for Fudo ShareAccess access (required),
- user’s organizational unit,
- user’s phone number.
- Click .
- (Optional Step) Go back to the Settings tab, and in the Authentication section select desired authentication type from the Add authentication method drop-down list. This option is for authenticating users in Fudo Enterprise User Access Gateway and does not affect authentication in Fudo ShareAccess.
- Click .
- Select > and click the button.

- In the modal window select users you want to invite from the list of available users.
Note
Only users with a configured email address can be invited to Fudo ShareAccess.

Fudo ShareAccess requires a user to be Trusted in order to access assigned resources:
- Click the button to trust the user immediately without verification, or
- Click the button to verify the user after they accept the invitation.
Note
Inviting users with the Trust option will result in the immediate, unattended sharing of resources.
- Sending an invitation will add entries to the users list with their status marked as Pending until the user clicks the email link and completes the invitation process.
Note
Sending an invitation means the user will receive an email containing a link that allows them to either create an account and accept the invitation or simply accept the invitation if they already have an account on Fudo ShareAccess.
Verifying Member Status¶
User that is paired with Fudo ShareAccess can have Trusted or Untrusted status. This status defines if user can see resources in Fudo ShareAccess.
Note
The Fudo Enterprise superadmin can perform verification (change Untrusted status) only after the user has created an account in Fudo ShareAccess and accepted the invitation to join organization.
- Select > .
- Select users from the list and click the button.

- Ask user to provide the Fingerprint Key from his Fudo ShareAccess account and compare it with the fingerprint displayed in the modal window.

Note
The Fingerprint Key can be viewed after logging into the Fudo ShareAccess user account and selecting Manage Account from the User Drop-down menu in the upper-right corner.

- Click . After confirmation user is trusted.
Note
- There is no requirement to complete that process. It is at the Administrator’s discretion whether to trust users without verification.
- The option to manually change a user’s status from Trusted to Untrusted is not available. Blocking the user in Fudo Enterprise will automatically disable their access to resources shared with Fudo ShareAccess.
Activating New User¶
If someone creates an account in Fudo ShareAccess using an email with domain assigned to your organization and click Join, you will receive an email notification prompting you to activate their account.
To accept the request of joining the organization:
- Use the activation link received in the email or log in to Fudo ShareAccess.
- From the upper-right corner, expand the menu, navigate to Manage Organizations, and select the organization to which the user has requested access.
- From the left menu choose Members.
- On the list of members find and select this specific user and click the . icon to accept his request.

Note
In reverse, you can deactivate a user by clicking the . icon.
Revoking Member Status Through Fudo Enterprise¶
The administrator has the ability to revoke access to the organization’s resources. To carry out this procedure:
- Select > .
- Select the users you wish to disconnect and click .
- Upon confirmation, these users will be removed from the list in the Fudo Enterprise.

Deleting Members¶
Note
There is no possibility to remove user from Organization or Fudo ShareAccess. The only possibility is to set account as Inactive.
To deactivate member through Fudo ShareAccess, follow the steps below:
- From the upper-right corner, expand the menu, navigate to Manage Organizations, and select the organization where you want to deactivate members.
- From the left menu choose Members.
- On the list of members find and select this specific user and click the . icon to deactivate this user.

- After completing these steps user apears on the members list with Invited` status.
