Cluster Configuration¶

Last update: 2026-02-06

The clustered configuration of Fudo Enterprise enables the system to operate in a multi-node architecture, where individual nodes (Fudo Enterprise instances) share responsibility for handling user traffic. In the event of a failure of one of the nodes, its functions are automatically taken over by the remaining nodes in the cluster, ensuring service continuity (failover) without requiring administrator intervention. The cluster also supports static load-balancing scenarios, in which user requests are routed to specific nodes according to a predefined configuration. This approach enables controlled traffic distribution, more efficient use of system resources, and predictable system behavior in environments with increased load or high-availability requirements.

Fudo ShareAccess supports clustered environments, allowing them to be integrated directly within the system. As a result, infrastructure operating in a clustered architecture can be used in Fudo ShareAccess in a consistent and transparent manner.

Pairing with a Cluster¶

Note

The configuration requires pairing the Fudo Enterprise instance on which the cluster was initialized first.

  1. Expand the User menu in the upper-right corner and select Manage organizations > Your organization name to open the organization settings.

  2. From the menu on the left, select Gateways.

  1. Click Add Gateway.

  1. Follow the instructions for pairing a Fudo Enterprise instance described in section Gateways.

Pairing with Cluster Nodes¶

Note

Pairing with cluster nodes can be performed directly in the dialog window during the pairing procedure with the instance on which the cluster was initialized, or the dialog can be opened from the list of already paired instances (Gateways) by clicking the . icon.

  1. Log in to the administrator panel of the Fudo Enterprise instance that is a cluster node.

  2. Select Settings > ShareAccess.

  3. Click Copy to clipboard to copy the Fudo Enterprise pairing key.

  4. Return to Fudo ShareAccess.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the pairing dialog window and click Add node to a cluster to add a cluster node.

  6. Paste the Fudo Enterprise pairing key copied from the node.

  7. Click Join node to cluster.

  8. Click Add node to a cluster if you want to add another node, and repeat the pairing key copy procedure for each of them.

  9. Click Finish.

  10. A group of added Gateways will appear in the list, displaying the cluster ID and node names.
