Filtering Sessions

Sessions filtering allows to find desired sessions easily by limiting the number of displayed sessions on the sessions management page.


Filtering options, such as selecting the time range when sessions started or choosing custom filters, are available by default in the top bar of the sessions view.

Defining Filters


  1. Select Management > Sessions.

  2. Click Filter.

  3. From the list of available filtering options select desired filter parameter.

  4. Select the values for the previously added filter parameter.

  5. Click Apply to confirm the filter.

Note

Enter a string of characters to limit the number of the elements on the list. In case of users, the elements on the list can be limited to those who have a given user role assigned or belong to the given organization unit.

  1. Repeat steps 1 - 4 to define additional filters.

Note

Only sessions which match all defined filtering parameters will be displayed.


Saving Custom Filters

Current filtering settings can be saved as a user-defined filter preset for the administrator’s convenience.


  1. Select Management > Sessions.

  2. Click Filter and define filtering options as described in the Filtering sessions section.

  3. Click the Save Filters button to store the filter definitions.

  1. In the modal window, enter a name for the new filter.

  2. Click Save to confirm and store the custom filter.

Applying Custom Filters

To apply a previously saved custom filter, select it from the Custom filters list. The selected filter will be immediately applied to the session list, and only sessions matching the defined criteria will be displayed.

Editing Custom Filters

To edit a previously saved custom filter:

  1. Select the desired filter from the Custom filters list. The Edit Filter button becomes available.

  2. Adjust the filtering options as needed.

  3. Click Edit Filter. A modal window opens, showing the current filter configuration.

  4. Click Save to overwrite the existing filter with the updated configuration.

Disabling Filters

Note

Active filters are displayed on the bar below the filtering settings.

To disable an active filter, click the i icon next to the filter name.

The filter is immediately disabled and no longer affects the displayed session list.

Deleting Custom Filters

To delete a previously saved custom filter:

  1. Select the filter from the Custom filters list.

  1. Click Edit Filter to open the modal window with the filter details.

  2. Click Delete to permanently remove the selected filter.
