Creating Collections

Collections in Password Vault allow you to organize and group secrets in a structured way. This helps with managing access permissions and keeping related secrets together.

Note

Collection Features:

• Organization: Collections help organize secrets by project, team, or purpose

• Nested Structure: Collections can be nested within other collections for hierarchical organization

• Access Control: Different permissions can be assigned to different collections

1. Select Password Vault > Organization Vault.

2. Click Add collection.

3. In the modal window, enter the collection name in the Name field.

4. Optionally, enable Nest under collection if you want to place this collection inside an existing one.

5. Click Add to create the collection or Cancel to abort.

After successfully creating the collection, you will see a confirmation message and the new collection will appear in the collections list.

Alternative Creation Methods:

You can also create collections using the quick action menu:

1. Hover over an existing collection to reveal the action buttons

2. Click + Collection to create a nested collection within the selected collection

Or use the three-dot context menu:

1. Hover over a collection and click the three dots (…) button

2. Select Add Collection from the context menu
