Oracle [BETA]¶
Supported connection modes:
Supported client applications:
Oracle SQL*Plus
Notes:
The Fudo Enterprise user name must be identical to the database user name. The Oracle protocol carries no separate field for a Fudo Enterprise user name, so the user is identified by the name sent when logging in to the database.
The Bastion connection mode is not supported for the same reason - the account and the server are always determined by the listener the client connects to.
Accounts of the regular type are not available for Oracle servers. Only forward and anonymous accounts can be created, and a forward account always authenticates against the monitored server. As a result, password substitution is not available for this protocol - users log in to the database with their own credentials.
Encrypted connections are supported with the Oracle SQL*Plus client. Other client applications do not support TLS with Fudo Enterprise.
Oracle native encryption (Advanced Security Option) is refused. Configure clients so that they do not negotiate it.
The
norawsession recording mode cannot be used. Set the session recording of the account toall, rawornone; timestamping requiresallorraw.Session joining is not supported.
